I'm really excited to lift on upper body today. We ran over nine miles this morning and my weary legs need a rest.
Warm-up and cardio - 5-25 minutes
I want you to do the exercises in combos. Do 10-12 reps of #1, then 10-12 reps of #2, rest, then do those exercises two more times before moving onto the next pair.
#1 - Chest Press - #2 - Single-arm Bent-over row
#1 - Overhead Press - #2 - Lat Pull-down
#1 - Triceps Dip - #2 - Outward Curl
#1 - Triceps Kickback - #2 - Hammer Curl (if you're short on time just do one set of these two)
#1 - Ab curls - #2 - Erector spinae - laying on stomach, raise chest and legs off ground at the same time
Cool-down and stretch

This is only to be taken as a joke...promise me?
Whew! This sounds like a lot of work and very tiring. Thank goodness Wednesday was over before I read it because now I don't have to do it!
Remember, I said I was only joking!
Thanks for making me laugh, Donna. I wish I could've avoided it too! It's 2:20 on Friday and I still haven't done the workout. It's just fine to take a day off!
It sure is good to take a day off. I have both tomorrow (Saturday) and Sunday off...woohoo!...I seldom have two days off in a row. Edie's working so I have both days to myself! I should be able to exercise, don't you think? I was thinking of going for a walk on at least one of the days, but I'm not sure how much of it will actually be cardio because I do want to take pictures and I want to just be walking for a long time (or out for a long time)...so some of it might be just to enjoy being out. That could include pausing along the water, window shopping, sitting on a bench in a park...but I usually will walk considerable distances and get quite a bit of time included in them. That will be one of my day's off, the other will be some chores and "I don't know what else yet".
You have a great weekend and I hope you are feeling better!
Thanks. I am feeling better. A long walk to take pictures and just enjoy sounds wonderful. I hope you have a marvelous time!
