I believe I use the same title for Friday's workout every week. Wow, I'm original. I ran seven miles this morning - it was torture. Isn't it funny how sometimes working out feels great, then other days you wonder why you would ever do this willingly?
We went water-skiing last night with my brother and his family. I loved it. I haven't been since I chopped off my fingers last summer. I was worried if I could grip well enough to get up - second try and I was skimming across the wake. I'm sure I didn't look half as good as I felt!
Here's tomorrow's workout.
Warm-up and cardio - 5-10 minutes
Do one set of each move or lift, then go back through them all 2-3 more times.
- Kickboxing - jab forward - 20, twisting jab - 20, uppercut - 20, triple time uppercut - 20, kick forward - 20, kick side - 20, rear kick - 20.
- Single-arm bent-over row - 10 reps on each side
- Decline pushup - 8 reps - feet on bench or step
- Jumping Jacks - 20-30 reps
- Lunge with back leg on bench or step - 10-12 on each leg
- Plie with calf raise - 12-20 reps
- Squat and leap towards ceiling - 12 reps
- Overhead press - 10 reps
- Triceps pulldown or overhead extension - 12 reps
- Biceps curl - 12 reps
Cool-down and stretch

You looked just as great as you felt skiing last night! Hopefully one day I will get that good! Karie
Thanks Karie! You're way too cute. Stan was saying how amazing you are to learn so quickly and do so well! Thanks for taking us, it was great fun!

Me and the word skiing just don't mix. I can't even swim so, no, I won't try waterskiing unless I had a minimum of 5 inner tubes wrapped around my body....I'd look like the Michelin Man in negative! I don't like to be out in the snow or cold too long and I don't take too kindly to falling, so I don't even have a desire to try snowskiing....well, that's not entirely true because I've often thought about trying cross-country skiing. I suppose if I got used to being ON SKIS instead of ON THE GROUND with my feet and skis up in the air, then I might consider trying a bunny slope.
